Die Kreuzen played the Cannibal Club in Austin with the Straw Dogs (Boston) on September 14, 1989. They Die Kreuzen played the next night at Liberty Lunch as well. The March 22, 1991 show was in Austin as well, not Dallas.

Thanks for the update Doug, I've added Straw Dogs to the timeline list!

I lived at the Twilite Room when Die Kreuzen played in the mid 80's With Count Caff. When I first heard they were playing I thought they were from Germany. Too much booze!!!

the Toronto show at the The Bridge/or Ildikos was at a hall. Might of been some Polish Hall or Latvian Hall. It was with DRI and DR Know. I still have the silkscreened Die Kreuzen shirt although the sleeves and neck have been hacked off it..

What an excellent site. Die Kreuzen was always a must see show whenever they played.
Too bad megaupload got shut down so all of your links for shows are bad.
Maybe MKEpunk could host them.
I cant wait to see the reunion show at the end of may. It will be epic!

Wellll, the Butties got got 'em back copping the riff to "Cool Breeze" for "Rocky", so I'd say they're even (Hairway to) steven!

Was, is and will always be a Kroytzerrr. I was a huge Voivod fan back in the 80's and they / Pushead kept saying how awesome Die Kreuzen were - they were right! What's funny is, now that I'm older, 'Cement' actually makes sense and I don't loath it anymore! HaHa! An aside: Herman is a huge influence on my playing, which led me to Keith Levene, which led me to James Blood Ulmer which led me to Blind Lemob Jefferson - it's all connected!
